All vehicles and equipment (wheelchairs, seatbelts, etc.) are sanitized:
Before every shift
After every transport
At the end of the shift
Our disinfecting solution is 80% Alcohol, 18% Hydrogen Peroxide, 2% Essential oil (For scent)
Our drivers have their temperatures checked before every shift
Drivers are issued full PPE including:
KN95 Respirators (FDA Approved)
8ml or higher thickness gloves (Which are changed and discarded after every transport)
Single use face shield
Single use isolation gown
We do not transport more than one patient at a time
We require ALL passengers to wear masks
Refusal to wear a mask will cancel the transport
We have installed droplet barriers between the drivers and the passengers’ sections of our vehicles to ensure safety
If a driver feels ill, has fever, or has had exposure, they are immediately pulled off the road, and sent for a rapid COVID-19 test
When environmental temperature allows, windows will remain open during transport
We have two dedicated COVID-19 transport units, which are never sent to non-Covid-19 patients
The units are thoroughly sanitized after each transport, and allowed to sit with windows and doors open to fully disinfect the interior
